Expo 2015 S.p.A. has determined four partner categories based on participation level, industrial sector, and business model as a guide to corporate engagement opportunities:
- Global Theme Partners: companies whose activities and values are intrinsically linked to the Expo theme, which contribute to the development of the theme, and enjoy sectorial exclusivity on the worldwide level.
- Global Service Partners: companies that develop the principal Expo technologies and services supporting the innovativeness and sustainability of the event. They can count on sectorial exclusivity on the worldwide level.
- Project Partners: companies and organizations that collaborate on specific key projects such as thematic pavilions, clusters, and Expo special contents.
- Signature Product & Service Partners: companies providing key expertise, products, and services for the construction and operation of the Expo site or event.
