Milano 2015 City Operations, 18 projects for the Expo Milano 2015

On the 15th June the municipality of Milan city has approved the master plan “Milano 2015 City Operations”, made up of 18 projects: 11 of these are compulsory for the organization of Expo Milano 2015, the other 7 are aimed to improve the city. The plan, which will be fulfilled in the next three years, is an integrated planning tool between the city of Milan and Expo 2015 Company. The objective is to make Milan attractive for tourists, efficient in terms of services, able to involve citizens in the event and to maximize the benefits from Expo Milano 2015 inheritance.

The success of Expo Milano 2015 depends not only on the attractiveness of the exposition site but also on the quality of services provided by the city. Therefore, Milan has to define its own vision of the event which will be achieved through a development plan aimed to integrate the visitors’ experience both at the exposition site and in the city.
